Corbel House

Kennington, South London
Residential Extension | 2020 | Completed

Studio Gennaio reconfigured an existing ground floor of a London townhouse to maximise the kitchen/dining space. The existing space was tight, and dinner party guests found themselves in the way while the host cooked. Studio Gennaio designed a small extension to allow zoning of the space - giving the guests to have a place to sit and chat, and not get in the way of the cooking. A bifolding window with window seat below provides a connection with the garden.
