Studio Gennaio reconfigured an existing ground floor to improve flow between an artist's studios in Penylan, Cardiff. Studio Gennaio designed an extension to provide a well-proportioned kitchen and dining space, utility and wc. Pocket glass sliding doors provide views and access to the garden, and a stepped internal landscape defines the different uses of the open-plan space through changes in floor level. Studio Gennaio remodelled the existing hallway to provide a more generous entrance into the property, with concealed pocket doors to each of the studios.
